Amygrace Foundation provides social interventions and innovative educational solutions to a range of challenges in under-served communities in Africa. We have so far served several socially deprived Nigerians in the South-West, South-South, South-East, and North-Central Regions of Nigeria, with a plan to reach more communities across Africa.

Our Founder

Dr Amarachi Amaugo who hails from the eastern part of Nigeria but born and raised in the Northern part of the country, understands the lived experience of individuals especially young women from deprived communities; many of whom struggle to overcome the limiting cultural, social, political and economic barriers. 

Many years ago, and as a young aspiring graduate with an entrepreneurial spirit, she started a vocational training programme for other aspiring young women. Her strong passion for empowering young people and individuals from low socioeconomic background, resulted in the creation of Amygrace foundation.

Dr Amarachi Amaugo

Amarachi has through this charitable organisation provided support and welfare programmes for widows, offered scholarships, and collaborated with other relevant NGO’s to organise sexual health awareness campaign in different Secondary Schools, Universities and religious organisations.

She has a BSc in Economic (ABSU), MA, Human Resource Management (HRM), University of Bedfordshire, MBA Wisconsin University, PhD in International HRM, University of Bedfordshire.

Having studied and lived in western world for many years, she understands the benefits of creating enabling environment, support and empowerment programmes to aspiring young people especially women from low income families and communities. Thus, she is more driven to serve and give opportunities to others.

She is a highly motivated and forward striving academic in International Human Resources Management, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and an Academic Fellow Chartered Institute of Personnel and Management (MCIPD), UK and has taught at several universities.

As an academic, she has also tutored inspired and mentored many young undergraduates and postgraduates students from diverse cultural and ethnic background from all over the world. She is also the Eze Nwanyi of Practical Knowledge & Innovation at Osiri University; an institution that is poised to become the citadel of learning and excellence for African-centered education on the continent and around the world.

Dr Amarachi is also an HR consultant providing HR and career solutions to many businesses and individuals within and outside of the United Kingdom. She co-founded a fast-growing UK based consulting firm- RouteHR.
